Artist's Inspriations

This is a statue of Rocky in front of an art museum in Philadelphia. I like how the statue depicts Rocky Balboa, so life like adn precise in all of his features.

Artur Leipzig took this photo of the Brooklyn Bridge during the 1960's. I like how it shows the city scape in the background as well as showing just how high the bridge is. I am vrey impressed by the angle this photo was taken from.

This is a 3-D sculpture by Charles Fazzino. This sculpture is a tribute to George Steinbrienner, the owner of the New York Yankees who passed away last year. The detail shown in this work is breath taking. This sculpture is to be placed in the executive office of Steinbreinner field, the Yankees spring training facility.

Andrew Yelenak is responsible for this painting depicting Michael Jordan early in his career. I like how the black and red seem to go together very well, and how lifelike MJ's face looks. The detail in the facial features as well as the uniform make this feel more like a photo than a painting.
This is a  painting by Todd Schorr. I like how he dresses up an ape inot an easter bunny costume. I take it as a mochary of something people consider scary. The whole piece plays with the mind, and seems to be quite strange and amusing. This piece is sharp and percise, adn shows fantasy at its best.
